When I finished TAPE 5, it felt like the end of something. Not the end of NAHreally, but the end of a particular approach. As part of figuring out what that next phase is, I've been organizing old hard drives. While going through those hard drives, I found quite a few demos. Some were songs that were never released, others were early versions of songs that came out in another form…all of them felt like part of a process that had run its course.
Since there’s no year zero, each new decade begins in a year ending with one. I don’t think it would be wise to carry these tunes into the twenties sitting on some hard drive. That's why I'm putting them out. Some are barely mixed, others are ill-conceived, some aren't too good, and many aren't too bad. Nonetheless, here they are: the cutting room floor of the NAHreally tape era.
You can stream the whole thing for free on track 15, but you gotta give me $3 to play them individually. If you don't have $3 and want to stream these tracks individually, hit me up and I'll send you a private link.
Here's to whatever is next.
